Conditions of participating in the GEHWOL Testers' Club

The Testers' Club
The GEHWOL Testers' Club offers free online services for its members. A jury at Eduard Gerlach GmbH decides about the acceptance of applicants into the GEHWOL Testers' Club. It is not possible to accept all applicants. It's important to us to obtain your opinions about new products, services and trends in the market. Testers' Club members receive products from the GEHWOL product range about twice a year, and new products when they are first marketed. There is no guarantee of a specific number of products per year. To become a member of the GEHWOL Testers' Club, you must be at least 18 years old and reside in Germany.

We need the following information for your application to the GEHWOL Testers' Club: Username, first name, last name, date of birth, street or post office, additional address information, postal code, city or town, country, email address and blog URL. These data are used solely to fulfill the tasks associated with membership in the GEHWOL Testers' Club. This includes mail delivery of products for product tests and contact via email to provide information about GEHWOL Testers' Club campaigns and coordination for holding campaigns. The data will only be used beyond this for persons who are accepted into the GEHWOL Testers' Club. Persons who are not accepted are only informed about this by email. However the data are absolutely not used after that time. The personal registration data of persons not included into the GEHWOL Testers' Club are deleted after the application process is complete. The notification about not being accepted is stored until permission is withdrawn, to prove the reasons for refusal. Registration data of persons who are accepted into the GEHWOL Testers' Club are stored until permission is withdrawn. The data privacy rules of Eduard Gerlach GmbH provide information about rights of withdrawal and other user rights. In order for EDUARD GERLACH GmbH to collect, process and use these data, we require your consent. Please provide the following declaration:

"Declaration of consent:
I consent to the collection, use and processing of my data by EDUARD GERLACH GmbH provided that my data, especially including my first name, last name, email address, street, postal code and place of residence, are used to start, perform and complete the user relationship. Eduard Gerlach GmbH may transmit the data to one or more contract data processors who also record, store and use the personal data solely for the aforementioned purposes on behalf of Eduard Gerlach GmbH. This consent is granted to EDUARD GERLACH GmbH, Bäckerstraße 4 – 8, 32312 Lübbecke, and includes the contract data processors that it employs.We also require a photo to which the member him/herself holds the copyrights. The photo will be used to illustrate your own blog on the members' page. The GEHWOL Testers' Club ensures the privacy of its members and will not pass personal data on to third parties other than its service providers who operate to perform data processing on behalf of Eduard Gerlach GmbH. Personal data are only used as required to fulfill the service (such as sending products). The website https://gehwol.de displays only the submitted photo, the freely selectable username and the blog address

Deregistration
Members in the GEHWOL Testers' Club can deregister from the free service at any time. To do so, just send an informal email to team@gehwol-testerclub.de. This will result in all personal data of this member being deleted.
