| Description | GERLACH TECHNIK Thermo grinding cap: The patented colour change signals the risk of overheating at an early time. This gives patients and users more safety in podology and foot care. Colour change technology gives early warning of imminent skin overheating, using a two-stage colour change system. Users can react immediately by reducing pressure, shifting to a different work area or briefly interrupting the treatment. The treatment is pleasant for the patient - without prickling sensations or pain. The risk of skin injury by overheating is nearly excluded. Diabetics will especially welcome this technological advance in medical foot care/podology. Diabetics often have only reduced pain and temperature perception (neuropathy) on their feet. In the worst case, neither the user nor the patient may notice excessively high grinding temperatures and overheating during treatments in time. Wounds also heal less well in diabetics. Traditional instruments such as grinders, diamond grinders or scalpels are always associated with a risk of burns or injuries, with problematic consequences for diabetics. The highly modern thermo-grinding cap reduces these risks to a minimum. |
